South County SELPA Equity Disproportionality and Design (ED&D) Team is here to support you SELPA and/or LEA for the 23-24 school year and beyond!

The South County SELPA ED&D Team is committed to helping SELPAs, LEAs, schools, and educators build an equitable special education experience for all students. Through research-based techniques and equity driven practices, ED&D provides a human centered approach to support you in your equity goals. With a proven track record, as a CDE approved technical assistance provider, we support SELPAs and LEAs across California through robust professional development opportunities.

Students have been significantly impacted by school disruptions these past few years, particularly our students with disabilities, English Language Learners, and historically underrepresented groups. Learning recovery and establishing systems to address the needs of our most vulnerable students is more important now than ever. The ED&D Menu of Services provides customizable professional development training, coaching opportunities, and technical assistance in content areas to support LEA Learning Recovery and LCAP plans. With ED&Ds partnerships and our team's passion and experience, we are confident that we can support you in your work towards closing the achievement and opportunity gap while building equitable systems.

Our goal is to not only provide high quality professional learning, but to equip you to scale and continue the work indefinitely. We believe that together, we can design the future of special education.
